Raytheon is considering selling its Beechcraft Brand or possibly spinning it off. Why? Well it appears that Raytheon is growing and seeing record profits and its trusty Beechcraft brand, which generally sells to the general aviation market is performing well in that industry market, but nothing like the Raytheon Military Divisions are in the military industrial complex realm.

Beechcraft has also been a reliable trooper in general aviation and a favorite amongst the general aviation and corporate aircraft folks. It has done well in the past few years also as fractional aircraft have become popular. Everyone in General Aviation loves Beechcraft and now it may again become its own company void of its parent Raytheon. Is Beechcraft for sale you ask? Well it might be or it maybe acquired by some other entity with general aviation ambitions. There are many such buyers for Beechcraft including many foreign companies.

A purchase of the Beechcraft Brand could give a leg up for a Canadian, Indian or Chinese Company to really make a dent in the world-wide marketing and distribution of Beechcraft. No on is sure what will be the next chapter in the Beechcraft Brand Legacy, only that it is a very well respected brand World Wide. Consider all this in 2006.
