Crazy Pineapple Poker ? A Fun & Exciting Game For Poker Players

Author: Kelly Price

Crazy Pineapple poker is fun and exciting and has a growing following among casino players.

Crazy Pineapple Poker is a take-off on Texas Holdem, is not as complicated, but is a fun and exciting game and is well worth playing for its entertainment value.

Its also easy to learn and play, so here are the basics.

What are the differences?

There are basically two.

The most important difference is the finale at the end to determine the winning hand. The other is in the number of hole cards that are dealt at the beginning of play.

Blinds are posted as the game begins.

One player posts a small blind while another a large blind. Then the dealer will deal 3 cards to every player, and just as in Texas Holdem, these cards will be dealt face down and called the hole cards.

Now as these cards are dealt, its time to begin the round of betting.

With the betting done, three cards are dealt on the flop to the players in the hand, or community cards. These will be shared by all players and used to make the best possible hand.

Now the next round of betting begins.

If a player is still in; they must discard one of the hole cards to keep playing.

At this point, a turn card is dealt to the community. Another round of betting follows. Now the final community card is dealt (also called the river card) there is one more round of betting.

Here is the major difference between Crazy Pineapple and Texas Holdem.

This is the showdown

This gives Crazy Pineapple Poker its entertaining nature and makes it fun to play.

If you made it to the showdown, there are a lot of options.

As in most poker games you will use five cards to get the best resulting poker hand.

As a further option, you can choose to keep the three community cards and the two hole cards, or four community cards and one hole card.

The Winner

To win, you can even use the five cards on the table or the five community cards as a winning hand too. There are many options to win.

Crazy Pineapple Poker is indeed an entertaining and fun game to play.

However you will need all your strategy and skill to defeat the other players. Its like Texas Holdem, but the extra twist in the rules give make it an alternative that many players enjoy

Unlike Texas Holdem, you wont be required to plan so much in advance due to the extra rule of discarding a card at the second round of betting.
