Many MLM tips taught by the so called heavy hitters in MLM nowadays are a rehashed versions of old, outdated sales techniques. Most, if not all, of these outdated MLM tips didn't work 20 years ago and definitely don't work in MLM today. If you are new to MLM on even if you have been in the business for awhile, and are not as successful as you would like to be read on. Here are four tips to help you succeed.

MLM Tip #1
For a long time we were told over and over that MLM is a numbers game. The more people you contact the closer you are to a sale. This might be O.K. for direct marketing, but not for MLM. Stop trying to sell. Instead, be genuinely interested in each person. Show them that you really care about them and you will help them realize their dreams. Find out what they want. Then promise to help them. Say' Together we will focus our action and thinking on your goals.' MLM is about building people and relationships. People can tell when you are not interested in them. If you are only interested in 'closing' them it comes through and makes everyone feel uncomfortable. If people feel uncomfortable they will not join you or buy from you.

MLM Tip#2
Stop chasing after your friends and family members. That so called warm market is not necessarily your best option. There's a big world out there and if you want to be successful have a system for generating your own leads. Your MLM Company or uplink should be able to help you there. Just remember, don't try to sell products or business opportunity. Find out what they are looking for and assure them that you'll help them all you can. Soon, you'll find that people will be looking for you!

MLM Tip#3
Decide on a goal. What are your reasons for doing this? How much money do you want to earn each month? How many people do you need to accomplish this? Have a workable plan that you will follow every day and a commitment to yourself that you will take deliberate action for as long as it takes, to reach your goal. It is also helpful to find a mentor who can guide you along your path. People who will help watch for and see the stumbling blocks that may be standing between you and your goals. Someone who has been in your shoes before where you can learn from their experience.

MLM Tip#4
It's all about relationships. Ultimately there is only one thing that people want to know. Will you take good care of me? Everything else is secondary. Whoever you are, you must convey only one convincing promise. I will take good care of you! People join people, not companies. This is the most important MLM tip to remember!
